This started as something I made for my fiancée. She likes going to local fairs and markets, and I couldn't find a decent way to keep track of them. So I built one, shared it with a few friends, and some of them wanted editions for their areas too. It got out of hand quickly.
Each edition covers fairs, flea markets, festivals, carnivals, and small-town traditions within a reasonable drive of a chosen place. Events are pulled from public sources and geocoded to their actual venues, each paired with a live weather forecast for its operating hours.
It's AI-assisted and automated. I trigger it, it does the work. I'm not hand-curating or validating these listings, so every event has a link -- check it before you drive somewhere. But if something looks good, go. I think that is really the soul of this project and really why I kept building this out. Your community has craftspeople, vendors, and small traditions worth showing up for.
